The Team Socks represent the peak expression of Can't Buy Cool Studios- zero compromise performance attributes where they matter and the highest aesthetic considerations whenever possible. The upper ankle area gives the look and feel of a classic 50s cotton athletic sock while the foot area is a performance powerhouse, utilizing targeted zones for breathability and cushioning in a full synthetic material package. This is some real Frankenstein shit- a freaky mashup in the best way.

A true hybrid.

The socks originated from a pair of cheap retro styled cotton socks. A favorite of the studio, these super thick ribbed striped socks found their way into daily runs, Here's the thing, they looked fuckin' cool but the performance was dogshit. Running in cotton might be the selling point of some current running brands but that damn sure doesn't make sense for socks. And from here the idea was born. What if we can create the look and feel of those cotton socks up top but with mega performance attributes on the actual foot area? That's what we did.

 

Somebody made these socks.

Truly, many people had a hand in bringing this product to life. From the designer, to the factory partners and others, it is a group effort. The Studio requests details from all manufacturing partners on who is physically making ideas become things. Yunfei Zhu runs the line that produced these socks. Why does that matter? You're not going to send them a letter or buy them a coffee. That's true however we believe it matters to put a name to a product and understand the process is comprised of people.  If you don't like the socks, don't blame us, you know who to look up.
